Institute of Hospitality Appoints Mark Manley MIH as UK South West Regional Chair

The Institute of Hospitality has appointed Mark Manley MIH as Chair of its UK South West Region.

Mark brings many years of hospitality experience to the role and is currently General Manager of Centurion Hotel & Planet Volt. He will work alongside the South West Regional Committee to deliver networking, learning and engagement opportunities for members across the region.

IoH CEO, Robert Richardson FIH MI, said: "Mark is a highly respected hospitality professional whose enthusiasm and commitment to supporting others make him an excellent choice to lead our South West Region. I would also like to thank Neil Porter FIH for his significant contribution and leadership over recent years. We look forward to working with Mark and the committee as they continue to strengthen member engagement across the region."

Taking up his appointment as South West Regional Chair, Mark commented: "It is a privilege to take on this role from Neil. The South West is a wonderfully diverse part of the hospitality industry, and we are committed to creating opportunities for members to connect, learn and engage across our wide geographical area. I am fortunate to be supported by a fantastic regional committee and together we have an exciting programme planned for the year ahead, including our forthcoming ‘Best of the West’ event with Wiltshire College, which takes place in June.

Mark concluded: "I look forward to welcoming both existing and new members to our events throughout the year and continuing to strengthen hospitality across the South West."
