Join the Hoteliers Charter
Hoteliers Charter inviting the Master Innholders to join their organisation, to support raising the profile of our industry and advocating working in hotels as a great career choice for the next generation.
The Hoteliers Charter was launched in February 2021 by Sally Beck, general manager of The Royal Lancaster London, to help dispel the notion that those who work in hotels work ‘long hours for little pay’. It aims to increase the industry’s profile, promote hospitality as a profession of choice to schools, colleges, universities and parents, and encourage young people to look at hospitality for a solid and engaging career path.
By becoming a Charter Hotelier you will demonstrate your existing commitment to your team, elevate your credibility as an employer for great career development and promote your conscious, fair and respectful culture to attract your targeted employment pool, while connecting with like-minded hoteliers, the wider industry and learning best practice.
There are 10 key commitments that Charter Hoteliers must agree to, which are outlined in full here.
With almost 400 members and counting, those who join the Hoteliers Charter will be in good company, joining the likes of The Goring, Iconic Luxury Hotels, Calcot and Starhotels.
Since its establishment, the Hoteliers Charter has also secured the support from industry-renowned bodies, including UKHospitality, Master Innholders, St. Julian Scholars and the Institute of Hospitality.
