Wallace Vincent MBA FIH appointed as Independent Hotel Show Ambassador
Wallace Vincent MBA, FIH, has been appointed as an ambassador for the upcoming Independent Hotel Show 2024, bringing both his knowledge and expertise in the hospitality sector to help further enhance and evolve the show’s offerings.
As part of this new role, Wallace will leverage his extensive network and deep industry knowledge to support and promote the Independent Hotel Show, encouraging innovation and excellence within the independent hotel sector. The role will also see Wallace sharing valuable insights, as well as championing and promoting the show to other relevant bodies and individuals within the industry.
With a distinguished career spanning over five decades, Wallace brings a wealth of experience and a profound dedication to the hospitality industry. From his early days as an apprentice chef in the British Army to his current role as the Executive Secretary of the Master Innholders, Wallace has exemplified commitment, leadership, and excellence in every position he has held.
Wallace’s journey in hospitality began in 1971, and his career has been marked by significant milestones, including his selection to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and subsequent commissioning into the Army Catering Corps. After retiring from the military as a Major, Wallace transitioned to civilian roles with some of the world’s leading support service providers, contributing to sectors as diverse as Defence, Education, and Healthcare. His diverse background and extensive expertise make him an exceptional fit for the role of Independent Hotel Show Ambassador. Wallace is also a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Cooks, and a Past President of the Réunion des Gastronomes.
