Awards aplenty at The Cateys 2023

Francisco Macedo FIH MI SJS, Jeremy Goring MI and numerous Master Innholder operated hotels were among the many winners honoured with awards at this year’s Cateys.

Taking place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on Tuesday, the awards ceremony celebrated those individuals and businesses who have excelled in specific areas of hospitality, covering areas such as management, sustainability and technology.

Anne Golden MI FIH and team walked away with the prestigious Hotel of the Year award for their work at Pan Pacific London, while Romain Bouger was awarded the Wine and Spirit Ambassador Award for his work at The Vineyard, managed by Andrew Mckenzie MI FIH.

Francisco Macedo’s FIH MI SJS fantastic work at the Cliveden House won him the night’s Manager of the Year award and Adrian Ellis FIH MI and the team were presented with the Best Use of Technology Award for their technological efforts at The Lowry Hotel.

Red Carnation Hotel Collection was also a big winner on the night, walking away with two awards: Best Employer and the Sustainable Business Award.

Toward the end of the evening, several esteemed awards were presented to individuals, including the Special Award, which was presented to Jeremy Goring MI for his amazing work supporting those most in need in our industry with the Hotel School.
