Franck Arnold MI named Hotelier of the Year 2025

Franck Arnold MI, Managing Director at The Savoy and Master Innholder has been named Hotelier of the Year 2025.

The prestigious award was presented to Arnold at a celebratory lunch held at the Ned in the City of London this Wednesday, which recognised him for his innovative and modern approach to hospitality and his management of The Savoy, the almost 140-year-old London luxury hotel.

Along with a focus on recruitment and retraining the team at the hotel following its reopening after the pandemic lockdown in 2020, he has commended on his commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience, which has been central to building teams that provide unforgettable experiences for guests.

As well as overseeing the refurbishment, Arnold has introduced a number of new F&B spaces at the hotel, and has worked with chef Gordon Ramsay to transform an underused private dining room into Restaurant 1890, which has since won a Michelin star.

Arnold was also recognised for his work across the hospitality industry, including his advocacy for career opportunities for young people.

The judging panel, made up of former Hotelier of the Year winners and industry experts, praised Arnold as “the epitome of a great hotelier” and said “the Savoy is thriving under his leadership”.

A Master Innholder for 12 years, Arnold is the next in a line of many winners of the Hotelier of the Year award who are Master Innholders. Previous winners include Conor O’Leary MI, Sally Beck MI, Danny Pecorelli MI and Jonathan Raggett MI.
