Hospitality Action support the industry with Chefs at Home cookbook
To mark the one-year anniversary of the first national lockdown, Hospitality Action launched their Chefs at Home cookbook, a collection of over 100 recipes that 54 of the UK’s leading chefs cooked at home during lockdown with their families, where 100% of the royalties will go towards helping those working in the hospitality industry.
As Covid-19 devastatingly swept through the UK, we all faced long queues at supermarkets and limited ingredients on the shelves forcing us to dig into the back of our cupboards for those emergency tins – and our favourite chefs were no exception.
In Chefs at Home, national treasures including Tom Kerridge, Jamie Oliver, Angela Hartnett and many more, have contributed two simple, accessible and flavoursome recipes to help support a beloved and struggling industry. From Clare Smyth’s charred chilli chicken to Cyrus Todiwala’s spiced mixed berry, walnut, rum & port cake each dish is simple and accessible but packed with flavour. From brunches to bakes and veggie delights to meat feasts, this isn’t a regular cookbook. It’s a cookbook dedicated to every chef, waiter, housekeeper and manger. Every concierge, receptionist and kitchen porter. Every sommelier, bartender, catering assistant and cook across the country.
The book is currently on sale online and in store at Tesco, Sainsburys, Waterstones, WH Smith and independent bookstores. Hospitality Action advocates have also stocked Chefs at Home from local delicatessens to Northcote and Rick Stein. It’s easy to purchase your copies, direct from Hospitality Action, and sell on to your customers. Pricing is as follows:
1-249 copies = £18
