IoH win National Association Award 2022 for second year
The Institute of Hospitality (IoH) has retained its title of Best Membership Organisation over 10,000 members for a second successive year at the National Association Awards 2022 (NAA).
The award, which is decided by public vote, saw the IoH beat off opposition from worthy opponents, including the National Residents Landlord Association.
On hearing the news Robert Richardson FIH, IoH CEO said: “Winning the award in 2021 was fantastic, but to retain the title for 2022 is amazing. It is testament to the work of the IoH team, our branches and forums in these challenging times. They are all dedicated and committed to our membership. On behalf of everyone at the IoH I would like to thank our members for voting for us and helping us achieve recognition for our work. We would not have succeeded if it weren’t for the support of our valued members.”
Since joining the IoH as CEO in April 2022, Robert has also led the IoH to win the UK & Ireland Chartered Governance Institute awards, in the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year 2021 for its Youth Council and Diversity Shield campaign.
The IoH is currently working to pursue its aspiration for Chartered Status and is a member of the Bank of England Decision Maker Panel regarding the impact of national and international events on the economy.
