For the first time since its inception, this year’s ride will commence in the city of Reims in France, taking riders across the country to key locations such as the ‘city of yellow bricks’ Saint Omer, the historical city of Cambrai, and cumulating in a finish back in Chillham, Kent at the Domaine Evremond vineyard for a well-deserved celebratory glass or two.
A full breakdown of key dates are as follows:
- Wednesday 10th September - Bike Collection
- Thursday 11th September - Eurostar to Paris – TGV to Reims – Welcome Reception, dinner and overnight accommodation hosted by Taittinger and Hatch Mansfield
- Friday 12th September - Ride from Reims to Cambrai – c.90 miles (virtually flat) / alternative 50-mile route for a maximum of 8 riders
