Hotel Marketing Association Awards deadline extended
The deadline for entering the 24th annual Hotel Marketing Association Awards has been extended to 31 January.
Rewarding those who champion and strive within the marking function of the sector, the Hotel Marketing Association Awards has introduced four new categories to reflect the evolution of the industry and the areas marketing activity is being focused on.
The new categories open for entries are:
- Best Weddings Marketing
- Best Meetings & Events Marketing – sponsored by Cvent
- Best Restaurant and/or Bar Marketing – sponsored by Hoteltime
- Best Leisure Marketing (including Spa and Golf Marketing) – sponsored by Noetic
The new accolades join existing awards:
- Agency Young Marketer of the Year
- Young Marketer of the Year – sponsored by LAW Creative
- Best Partnership Marketing – sponsored by Avvio
Entries are welcome from conference centres, hotel-based restaurants and spas, hostels, serviced apartments, hotel chains, consortia and individual hotels, as well as external agencies. Entrants don’t need to be a member of the HMA, and the awards are free to enter. Winners of the 2018 Hotel Marketing Association Award’s will be announced at the ceremony held at the iconic St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, London on Monday 18 March 2019.
Winners of this year’s awards will join an esteemed line-up of previous individual winners including Tom Driscoll, previously from Gough Hotels, Stephen Moran of InterContinental London Park Lane and Harry Fielder of Umi Digital, as well as hotels – Rudding Park, The Feversham Arms Hotel and Hilton Worldwide and agencies – LAW Creative and Fat Media.
This year’s awards ceremony will support our charity partner The Children’s Society, with money raised throughout the evening and a percentage of the ticket sales being donated to help change the lives of vulnerable young people across the UK. The Children’s Society is a national charity that provide services and support to young people affected by a range of issues such as poverty, sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking. They work intensively with young people at higher risk of these issues such as those in or leaving care and those affected by substance misuse. Using innovative services design, technology and partnerships they work to ensure no child feels alone.
