Join us for the Champagne Taittinger Educational Trip 2026!

The Master Innholders is delighted to announce that this year’s Champagne Taittinger educational trip will take place 28-29 September 2026.

The trip, a staple in the Master Innholders calendar, offers sommeliers, restaurant managers and restaurant staff the opportunity to visit the world-famous Champagne Taittinger headquarters in Reims.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to learn more about the unique wine making process at Taittinger, with educational tours of its vineyard, cellars and more.

The full itinerary of the two day trip is as follows:

Monday September 28 2026

08:00 Meet London St Pancras

13:00 Lunch in Paris

17:30 Visit to the vineyard-Route to La Marquetterie.

19:00 Dinner at Chateau de la Marquetterie

Tuesday September 29 2026

09:30 Masterclass Tasting at Taittinger production facilities (Closterman)

11.00 Visit to the 2000-year-old cellars at St Nicaise

13:00 Lunch at Le Pavillon François Taittinger

15:00 Visit to the Cathedral of Reims

20:30 Arrive back in London

Taittinger are very generous hosts and those who join the tour will find it both memorable and enlightening.  Whilst a serious educational experience, the aim is also to provide a pleasant experience while also networking with other members from within the Master Innholders community.

Individuals will be required to comply with any and all Government requirements at the time of travel to and from France.  Applicants must also ensure that they are in possession of adequate travel insurance cover and be in possession of a Global Health Insurance Card and/or appropriate medical insurance cover.
